was a SOB... and the power is going to be out... for a LONG time. I can't even get home yet and I'm not sure when I'll be able to get home. Luckily it wasn't as bad as we thought and my house is intact. Hope all you guys are well. Congrats on the gamebattle last Thursday and good luck on Tuesday. I'm having severe Warhawk withdrawl.... mostly I'm already missing home.

I will see ya when I see ya... hopefully the power won't take 2 weeks + to come back on like they're predicting...

I'm a pampered princess and need A/C Very Happy

I'm really glad you're fine and spirits seem to be good. Have you heard from Gar, is all of yalls fam in tack? Most of my people for the most part got out from down there, but some I'm still waiting to hear back from. I wasn't expecting Ike to do the damage he did....but dang $5 Billion worth of damage downtown, ate up a piece of Reliants roof. He did the fool in Keama, Galvelston, and Corpus. City/State is telling folks to fallback from the area for at least 2 weeks? That's insanse manne. I went out last night, and on one of the highways...the signs that tell you estimated travelling time to certain parts of the city due to weather and traffic said... "DO NOT TRAVEL TO HOUSTON OR BEAUMONT". I was like ..."Damn.."

It's crazy. I'm still in San Antonio and the news is still saying not to travel to Houston. I'm going to attempt to drive in in the morning regardless. This hotel is starting to financially drain me and I'm anxious to see family and my house. I haven't heard from Gar personally but I know my mom's talked to him. As far as I know all our family is ok. My mom got damage to her fences and her carport but her house is fine. A tree fell on my house but apparently didn't do any severe damage. Totally nuts.

Can't be anything but upbeat. Others have it a lot worse. I'm not in a shelter and I at least have a house to go home to.

Probably won't have computer access for a while after I head out tomorrow so I'll talk with ya when I can.

Oh... what happened with the Jets today Almighty???? Very Happy
Enjoy that cows game tomorrow..... I probably won't be able to watch it Mad

Thanks for the support and concern. We're all fine over here. My whole family fared well. This is my only outlet to gaming right now. Its so sad. So we have power at my job (go figure); none at home. My roommate and I played Uno for hours out of boredom. Its crazy what we take for granted with electricity.

I'm grateful... so many have it much worse.

Don't get too comfy Almighty.... I'll be back soon to hand you your arse... Razz
