I understand how sony wants it to be proprietory about the OS and software used to run PS3, the only reason it blows it cause i Just learned the other day how to install Leopard 10 to run and record gaming online, it was going to be neat..... now you can no longer use other OS's or you can never use PSN or Blu Rays from a certain point on, that's Blackmail.....

Yeah, I don't get the blackmail part Conspiracy Theory Gen, LOL. Sony did this so hackers won't exploit the Slim, like they did Fat, to stop piracy on the PS3.

The known hidden features so far, are that the Store has been improved, presumably referring to the PS1 functionality. It appears that the security of MP4 video playback has been boosted too, removing some vulnerabilities.

I didn't even know there was an update....til just now. Which is why I was confused.

a problem with loading a new OS but i heard that if yellow dog linux fixs the problem than sony will do another update so you can load it but as of right now no new OS can be loading if you run the update.. but i dont really care cuz im not going to do it anyway.. my buddy was pissed though cuz he just figured out a buch of stuff with it...lol

that's why i was bummed. my buddy just showed me that day how to do it and i have leopard 10 here at my house, man i was pissed.
