whats your guys thought on PS+ and the cross game chat

The 2nd link was a bit confusing. So is cross game chat for reg. users or psn plus only?

If it even happens, as it seems to be up in the air again, it will be available for everyone but only if you have a friend that has psn + and can initiate the chat.

so muff will be hosting clan chatrooms so us poor ppl dont miss out?

I have Plus. It did not come with cross-game chat - I'm convinced this feature will be like Starhawk, much talked about, but never seen.

The only perk is the free and discounted items - and beta invites. If you're not one to buy stuff on PSN anyway then there's no point to you getting it. IMO.

I love it because I do buy a lot of the PSN games - and each month you'll get one or two free and a lot of the games and DLC are discounted.

For example this month the new Fat Princess DLC is discounted and all of the Magic Orbz DLC is FREE (big perk for me I love that game) - Wipeout HD is free (unfortunately I already have it) - you also get a free Mini game each month (if you have a PSP this is a perk) and a free PS1 game each month. Also Fallen Star for Warhawk is a free DL this month with Plus. I know we all already have it but its still cool.

So already in one month the $50 has paid for itself if you don't have any of those items and you're interested in them.

So really its a matter of how much PSN crap you buy and whether you'd benefit from the freebies and discounts.

I also got the Medal of Honor beta the day after I signed up. I don't know if that was coincedence or what... but it was exciting to get it.

i cant decide...

on one hand MW2 is the first game i bought for ps3 since WH first came out. and i paid half for 1 copy and we bought 3....2 were download version.
so you could say i DONT buy games. so havin plus is poinless.

on the other hand...if they were cheaper...WOULD i buy them?

i need some wisdom......anybody?
