As some know I am 49. I bought this game for my 10 year old. Over the past year he played some but I have played as NAMAKAN over 90% of the time. I even bought an x-box 360 and another monitor to keep him busy so that I could play more Warhawk!
Now he is playing Warhawk again. He is decent at it. He is a General in COD4, so he does know how to kill!! However he lets his friends play with him who have no clue how to play. They make my guy wear obnoxious colors that no soldier would ever wear!!
This is the only game I play so I didn't know I could create another account and make another Warhawk account without wiping out the one I have.
So yesterday I made an account for my son. His name is NAMAKAN_JR! I thought this would be useful. It will keep him and friends from trashing NAMAKAN and subjecting him to dressing like leisure suit Larry!
An unfortunate side-effect is that he has started his own clan. It is called LORDS OF LORDS. Tag name=LORD. Now of course he wants me to be in his clan. I told him if he starts playing Warhawk regularly I might. I figured he would tire of Warhawk after a few hours as he has in the past. He played 7 hours yesterday and is already a Sergeant! He is playing now with several friends in an unranked game.
So since his return to Warhawk, I have been unable to play and he wants me to change clans! Not the result that I expected. I may have to buy a 2nd PS3 inorder to play if this keeps up. I'm thinking that when the new COD comes out next week that he will go back to that and stop playing. But you know how Warhawk is, he may be addicted. I may have turned my son into a Warhawk Junkie like me. Overall its good as its great to bring someone into Warhawk.
If he does keep playing and I have to buy a new PS3, I will need Almighty to help me learn how to pull the memory out of 1 and into another. I guess you can do that.
Anyway if I leave the clan and join him, it has nothing to do with you guys. I love playing with all of you. But he is my son so I will have to quit if he, like most of us, becomes a Warhawk addict.

Lol....kinda touching story. Kinda wish I had an offspring to play with and teach the game to. Definitely understandable and we suppport any decision you make. Both of you are always welcomed to any of the servers too. 9 out of 10 times, he's going to get addicted. You created a monster NAM...literally. lol

Aww, man I hear you Nam, I hope you don't gotta go but we understand. Hey you guys can still play with us though, so it's not the end of the world. I've been teaching my nephew Goodington to be a real gamer and I totally understand when you have a lad that looks up to you and you have to be a role model.

You need to buy an external HDD and back up your system. Then you SHOULD be able to restore that info on another PS3. I'm not 100% sure though because I've never heard of anyone doing this from one system to another, but it should be able to work. You should call Sony to make 100% sure.

The smartest way to go would be to upgrade the internal HDD on your new PS3 first and then restore your old info so you can do everything in one shot. I posted the external I use and the new 500gb internal I plan to get in the same post. There is a video how to swap them too, it takes no more then 10 minutes at the most.

I was playing with NAMAKAN_JR the other day he seemed to be into the game even though his KDR was like 2 kills 40 deaths. He should keep coming to our servers and maybe one day he can join if he gets good enough.

I think jr will do fine,he keeps respawning so thats half the battle. My kids are on my back too to let them play i might have to buy two more ps3s, so i feel for ya......And whats this about switching or upgrading the system? Can that really happen?
