OK OK Sheesh where do i begin, ps3 locked up today and ps3 hotline says that a flashing red led means it's over heated yet i cannot see how this is so i mean shit. was only on for a half an hour and i was on warhalk of coarse and it froze momentarily and powered down. tried to restart it and it tried to pwr up went grn for a sec flashed yellow 6 or so times beeped for times rapidly then goes to flashy red led for a min or so. if anyone knows how to fix this problem other than spending another 180 bucks to sony please let me know

Yeah man, the glossy exterior on the 3 is a dust magnet. I have a microfiber cloth (doesnt leave scratches) and use a dust can to clean the fan weekly.

I have mine drapped with the material it cam wrapped in, to protect it from the dust. Hate to hear this Gamer...Hope it doesn't turn out like Junito's. I'm noid...once again.

Mines all scratched up cause I clean it with wateva. But this overheating has been happening to alot of people im kinda paranoid.
