As I said Until "MMA" is in the Olympics...and or "schools/colleges" adopt it...again...Holla at me.
Golf is not an olympic sport...but is in your school systems/colleges.
Ping Pong made it to the Olympics...and MMA has yet after how many years of existence again? You made a great point there Nasty....that's that it's merely "entertainment" and not taking seriously in the sports realm.
And as always...when comparing it to boxing, at the end of the day, whether it's at a school, club, sporting events amongst athelete's or even fan's...in the heat of the moment, hands will always get thrown over "leg locks" and "martial art moves." When's the last time you seen an official/referee break up a fight on the gridiron, court, ice rink or baseball diamond from someone doing martial arts? It is what it is.
