Since the PSP dropped in '05 there have been no huge cosmetic changes, just two mild updates. Now even though Sony keeps denying it, industry spies have confirmed that the PSP 2 IS indees on the horizon. It's allegedly supposed to feature a widescreen multi-touch interface comparable to that of the iPhone for both in-game control and menu navigation. Shocked

I'm not into mobile gaming, I would just get one to help control and enhance my PS3 experience. In fact I was gonna buy one now, but I keep hearing rumors about this, so I let it breathe. What I want is a device that can connect via Bravia to control my entire Sony entertainment center as well as PS3 and the net. Sony's most expensive, customizable touchscreen remote costs $200 anyway.

This is by far THE best fan mockup anyone has created! Shocked

Pretty good cyclops

This is if they decide to go the cutesy, pussy DS route. Sony already has the Mylo and I seriously doubt they're go casual for anything PS. Neutral

Rumor is that the PSP 2 will ditch the UMD drive. cheers UMD's never took off like Blu-rays did AT ALL. Removing this means better battery life and a smaller form factor. I say just make most of the games downloadable!

Word, if they can find more intuitive ways to integrate this with the PS3 then it's copped!

Yeah man, I'm more interested in it for it's PS3 enhancents, I don't really do portable gaming and I already have a BlackBerry and iPod, so I don't need it as a media player or net browser either.

But if you could be connected to your PS3 in new ways, at all times, it's a must buy for me.
