Anyone an old Sonic or Genesis fan?? This game has 40 titles (and even more to be unlocked I believe) from the Sega Genesis era. It's only 29.99. I haven't done a lot of research but the guy at Gamestop said a lot of the titles have been redone in HD. I don't know if this is true though. I have it on reserve as I was a HUGE Genesis fan. Brings back memories. Very Happy

A MUST-BUY! All the games in the collection have been converted to HD 720p. Shocked Honestly I'd cop just for ALL THREE Streets of Rages!

Can anyone explain to me why they STILL havent been able to make a side-scrollling fighter better than SOR?!

On top of all the awesomeness of this... there are also trophies for playing these old games! SWEET!

So this is a must buy if you're a Sega fan. Some of the trophies are ridiculously easy to get and others are impossible. Its worth it for all the Sonic games alone... then they throw in Streets of Rage and Vectorman which just about does it for me.

The ONLY game that came close to SOF trilogy since the 90's was Dead to Rights and that was a shooter more than a Brawler. Yakuza, God Hand all of them have been subpar. I say just make a new SOF if that's the case.

Are the graphics of these old games enhanced any, or do they still look vintage?

I read that...but I'm not buying into it...esp from someone trying to sale something. Madden so called "Did the same thing" years ago with the anniversary editions, with the previous vintage maddens on the same disc. The graphics where terrible.

The resolution and sound have been updated to support 720p HD. These aren't gonna be brand new games, but they are updated to mid-tier HD. Now EA just said the old one's would be updated, Sega is clearly stating that these are gonna be HD. Again, not NEW games, 16 and 32 bit games cleaned up. Dig??

That's what I was looking for....Thanks Muff. The 720p I wasn't really buying into, making THAT much of a difference.
