| This morning at 11:42 AM I was having a nice day in the backyard of my home and all of a sudden BAM the EARTH STARTED SHAKING, I knew it was an earthquake I sat down on the ground and made sure I was away from falling objects. After about 30 seconds or so I went to check if there was any damages on (and in) my property and aside from things falling on to the ground and breaking apart I am glad nothing major was broken (like my roof breaking apart lol). I turned on the news and it was on the news ALL DAY LONG.
I realized it was a 5.4 earthquake, which was minor compared to the big one we had in southern cali a long time ago.
Dang I need to leave Cali lol |

| Couldn't imagine it...Earthquakes sound terrible..as crazy as it sounds...I like my chances with Tornado's. I always felt Hurricanes and Earthquakes were worst than tornados but many differ. Glad to see you made it alright and nothing was majorly damaged.

I'd rather deal with tornadoes than earthquakes. Once the ground started shaking there's basically no where to run lol |

| It's not much you can, if you don't have a tornado house ( which is like an underground shelter). Outside of that...staying prayed up..and making sure you're in a close proximity place, like a closet or bathroom with a mattress over you.
In my area...the DFW metrolplex area...Ft. Worth area has them all the time, like in the spring (Tornado season)....Why? I don't know.
