These are the powers you get to choose for your hero/villain, though these are still undetermined if these are all the superpowers you get to chooses from:

Powers and Abilities
Players will be capable selecting diffrent body types for their character. Body sizes range from "scout" (a slim, Robin-type male) and "sprite" (a similarly slight female) to "brick wall" (a solid slab of muscle) or the more exotic "freaker" (a gangly Joker-type).
Players will also have the possibility of selecting the "inspired by" feature, which creates you're character in a way to resemble an established character in the DC Universe continuity.

You then choose a powerset (electrical, light, ice, etc.), a power source (eyes, hands, weapon, power ring), and movement enhancement (flight, speed, etc.)

10 weapons have been confirmed for the launch of the game -

Bow - Obvious
Dual Wield - Anything you can hold in two hands, like Escrima Sticks
One Handed - Swords, clubs axes, etc
Dual Pistol - Obvious
Rifle - Obvious
Staff - Melee fighting staff. i.e bo-staff, spear, trident, etc
Brawling - Hay maker style melee
Martial Arts - Precision/Agile melee combat
Hand Blaster - Projections from your hands, gauntlets, etc

thanks Iwill try to fig it out so start a villian on one and hero on 2&3. Smile

not to happy about the 15$ a mouth pretty pricey it a down fall for the game. that is alot to dish out ever mouth, far as i'm concern sony is gold digging. its a game not a phone bill. I find it hard to belive that people are gone to pay for this when good portion of sonys customers are under the age of 20. hope they don't pull this stunt with starHawk Mad

Well you have to keep in mind...this is a MMORPG. There is NO OTHER game like that for the PS3/XBOX/Wii...typically these are computer only. With majority of your computers attached to the internet, MMORPG are prevelent amongst Computer Gamers.

As for the price...it's avg. compared to what the 3 top MMO games are charging. People will pay it...World of Warcraft has 8.5M players, paying it. THAT'S INSANE. And has been out for YEARS. The thing about these MMORPG..there's no ending to the game, you keep playing and playing and unlocking and steady ranking up your character. This is why people sale their WoW characters on ebay for THOUSANDS of Dollars. Like I said, it's not for everyone...those that are looking for instant gratification with the quick rank ups and unlocking all unlockables...this is not the game for them. Not to mention there is constant packs and DLC. I'm also noticing from reading on DCUO forums, MANY computer owners are contimplating gettting a PS3 now...while there's people on there saying the only reason they got a PS3, was the announcing of this game.

Starhawk or any other game won't have this (fee). Those are just online games. There's a max as in how many the servers can hold. For instnace, 0-16 players for some games, 0-24 or 0-32 players etc. The closest Sony has come to an MMO was MAG...and that wasn't truly one. Couple of hundred players Vs. Thousands/Millions.

Avg. monthly subscription fee...as you'll see it's common and mandatory for MMOs. Initially when I heard about it, it turned me off from the game...but after playing it, to me...it's worth it.

They keep inhancing the graphics with the updates...you notice lil things.

They have proxi chat now..and made the voice chat more broken down as for group, league, non group..and proxi. Basically you can invite anyone into chat and not be linked to a group.

They added a new Bane Duo...and some raid with CatWoman. Penguin and Two face comes next month...with his henchmen and robotic penguins. They're slowly starting to implement new characters with their respective missions, gear, and weapons.

There's an auction now to buy or bid things you want or need. Also a good way to get your money up.

There's hella stuff...by the time you come back you'll see.
