| This was from the Warhawk forums... and can someone explain to me what the hell it means?? Turn-based strategy??? Sorry if this has been posted already
PlayStationHome.com (the first to report this information) has just received juicy information from Dylan Jobe, the founder of Lighbox Interactive, that Starhawk, the rumored sequel to Warhawk, might be a turn-based strategy game.
Twitter is an upcoming service that is drastically changing how people interact with each other. Have you ever wanted to ask your favorite movie star or role model a question and actually get a reply? With Twitter, you can. According to Wikipedia, "Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates known as tweets."
Recently, Dylan Jobe posted a tweet on Twitter which stated "it's a turn-based action platformer with CCG elements, using the "Mr. Clean" Licence ;^)" This information provides us with enough information to truthfully say that Starhawk will involve more strategy and teamwork than its predecessor, Warhawk, if Lightbox Interactive continues with this idea.
You may be asking, "what is a turn-based game?" Basically, a turn-based game is defined by the provision of players to complete their objectives using only the infantry provided to them, and usually by the realistic--or at least believable--representation of military tactics and operations.
Stay with PlayStationHome.com as we track this story." |
