| Ok so this is a video I did of Part 1 of me and Trail battling. Its the Fortress match... the only match that I won. Soon I'll post the other two highlights. This short video has taken me 3 hours to make. Its not perfect but I think pretty good for my first try. Editing is a bitch. Let me know what you think.
Finding music where the artist will allow you to use it is hard as hell. This song wasn't my first choice

| yeah there's a lot i couldnt figure out how to do and then my computer locked up and i lost some of my work so... next one will be better... i think the score on that game was like 16-11?? Trail may remember. |

Ok so my roommate is an art major and she does all these video art projects and stuff so there's this fancy movie making software on the computer. Well I'll be damned if I could figure it out. Even with a short tutorial she gave me I couldn't navigate it for shit.
SO... I tried out the Windows Movie Maker that my computer came with. Its not good for actual movies and doing anything fancy but I've found that its great for editing together game video. It did take me forever on that first video because I was learning while I was doing it. The second one only took me about an hour.
Its actually fairly simple though. The hardest part is cutting the video where you want it and going through all that footage looking for what you want to include. |
