| What actually is the concept of this game? Seems like some Mario/Gyromite type gig...

| You have your character named Sackboy (or Sackgirl, Muffy), which is a little stuffed animal you control in a large sandbox area. You can customize your Sackboy and dress him however you like, the level of customization is CRAZY, people have put damn anything you can think of on your Sackboy. If you reserve the game with Gamestop, you get a code to dress him like Kratos and if you reserve it with Amazon.com, you can dress her like Nariko from Heavanly Sword. They have outfits for a few of Sony's 1st and 3rd Party exclusives, I've seen Killzone and Snake versions, so I'd wouldnt be surpised if we have something for Warhawk eventually. The game is a platformer like a Super Mario Bros., but you build the levels like Legos. The cool thing is that you take all different types of objects to make your own levels, imagine a kid in a sandbox with a stuffed animal and you have carbaord, rubber bands, stickers, wood, metal, plastic, ecetera. And you want to make a car for your stuffed animal to WHIP (not swang, LOL) and the you want to make a cannon and a catapault to fly across the level. Then u want to make a carboard castle with a moat and a drawbridge and then give Sackboy a jetpack. Then you want to put your face in the game, so you take a pic with the PS Eye and put a sticker of your face on him, you can do ALL this and more on ONE level. You fully interact physically with your created environment as all the materials have real world physics associated with them. Now the game is 2.5-D, like Street Fighter 4 is gonna be, NOT 3-D or 2-D. Meaning in it's essence it's 3-D, but your the camera adjusts to your positon, so your always playing from a 2-D perspective. The levels have depth and you can go forward or backward. This is like no game ever and a step in a new direction of user created content for consoles.

| You can copyright certain items on your levels to control how it's used once someone else obtains it. This game is gonna be a problem!

| So...if that's the case...you could just watermark everything. Or be very selective I suppose. Any "throwed" creations from Da Good....forget about gettin your paws on...only will be available when I'M available.

| LOL, yeah the way it works is that EVERYTHING in the game can be manipulated and changed to your liking. When you copyright items they're tied to you and can't be manipulated.
So say if you make a level called Goodland or some pussy shit right and to complete your level you gotta acquire the um, I dont know, Gayhorn right. So once someone acquires the Gayhorn they beat your level. But once they have it, it cant be changed cause it's your copyrighted item.
Now they're saying that people may be able to do micro transactions and charge for their created content, so we may be able to make some change off the game too. |
