So I don't know how you guys in the other areas are faring... but it just isn't raining here. At all. Its actually kinda crazy. The wildlife... the birds, squirrels, raccoons etc are all fighting over little puddles that get left over from people watering plants.

I went out this morning and bought two bird baths for my yard because I feel so bad for them.

So anyway my point of this post is that if you're here in Texas and living in an area where it hasn't rained in forever please put out a bowl of water for the critters outside. They're thirsty.

Our drought was a while back.

Its been hot down here in Florida too.

shit i have been in texas since saturday of last weekend and its been smoking hot the whole time ive been here you guys and girls can have all this heat im going back to georgia lol

let me tell you something about dry, i can't tell you the last time i've seen the rain. when you step out of the house the sun starts to suck the moisture right out of you. all we know in AZ is that it will be hot and dry almost every day

man here in ny it did nothing but rain all may and june right up until the july 4th and it hasn't rained since. the summer was starting up in a wash until july came.

I got the perfect remedy for all you heat sufferers. Stay inside...

LOL I do stay inside. Mostly. My post, for all you non-readers, was in an effort to get people aware that the birds and squirrels and creatures who can't hide indoors need water too.

So again...

please put a water bowl out. They'll love you for it.

I would but i'd have to Go outside to do that...kidding

the heat in my neck of the woods drove all the cool creatures away, all we got now is coyotes , bobcats, rattle snakes, gila monters (big lizards), scorpions and tarantulas etc. I don't think i'll be leaving any water for them. It's nice to know that you worry about the birds and squirrels.

its a womans nature to worrie muffins but just to let ya know we have six or seven bowles of water out for all animals big and small

I did read your post. As a matter of fact, You reminded me how just the other day a stray dog refused to move out of the way of my moving vehicle. He was drinking from a puddle. I didn't blame him. Aight Chill.
