so last night i started havein ntwrk problems.
id get on wh join game, and after about 5 or so kills, id get kicked and it would say 'Network Error'-clean up network...the usual.
so id get back on and after a few kills id get kicked again..this time sayin 'playstation network is not available at the moment' and would kik me offline completely. then id sign back in and try to get back on wh and it would say 'Network Shutdown..network initialization failed.
this went on all night till i turned it off. every time this happened i could still use the internet browser but not the game. also my modem would reset every time.
anyone have a clue???

nope no clue.. mine use to do that now it just says server disconnect every time

Jake..... if you got a patch from PSN or software update and then it stopped working that could be it, last time this happened to me it was third person DSN fault out due to firewall protection. Meaning, TimeWarner pointed the finger at PSN for failure to connect, then it was both parties pointing the finger at Linxus Router i was using, They said it wasn't their fault either and after much frustrating Troubleshooting, come to find out they were all correct. TimeWarner Sub-Contracts a Third Party for their DSN and it was that companies firewall that wouldn't allow PSN to work, and that sounds like what's going on with you because all i could get to work was that stupid web browser, even the connection test said i didn't lose any connectivity yet my PSN wasn't working......

Threw that particular post up so you could try the solution for the last time this happened, it was never proven who actually came up with that solution, i think honestly it was someone at PSN but they didn't want to look like they were at fault for the problems that were occuring at that time, the solution just presented it self annonymously but what it is is that DSN you see up there are from free DSN servers that don't block certain Ports on your firewalls as PSN goes through your internet......

Call Netflix and tell them to send you a disk for the PS3 if you have a Netflix account.

was tryin to set up an account but the website shows up as a blank red page on the playstation. but i finally found it.
