It's made by the original producer of Devil may Cry 1. He's not working on that series anymore with Capcom, so he decided to do his "own" version of DMC with Sega. I think this one will be pretty good cause I"m a huge DMC fan. And yeah, the concepts and designs are crazy.

Strange you say that...the first few scens I saw from the link above yesterday, I thought Devil May Cry. Looks like a spinoff.

I played the demo early from the Japanese store and I gotta say I'm surprised how good the game is, it's like DMC and Harry Potter on estrogen and cocaine! As I alluded to, the game is made by the original DMC producer, and the two are VERY similar. Whereas DMC deals with devils and demons, Bayonetta deals with witches and magic. But Bayonetta takes it further than DMC, the design and concepts of the game are very unique and very weird in some cases. It's a visual feast on the eyes that is better to be experienced yourself, than trying to be explained. For example, she has two handguns and samurai sword, her heels are guns as well, her leather suit is really body hair the can be used as a weapon!
The game is in the same mold of a Tomb Raider, where it's designed from a female point of view, but definetly caters to guys as well. In short, everything is meant to look sexy or to allude to sex, the demo is called First Climax. The controls and combos are crisp and plentiful just like DMC, but the weapons and methods of battle are very original.
The only issues I had were with inconsistent targeting and the sometimes awkward camera angles, just like TR and DMC. While it doesnt ruin the game at all, its very noticable in some instances and I hope it can be cleaned up a bit before release. All in all, the game is better than expected and will satisfy people looking for a great action game.

everyone must try out this game... i must have it as soon as it comes out

LOL Yeah I thought the demo was pretty good. Not enough to make me wanna buy it though. It's too much like DMC. I finished both 1 & 2 of the DMC games and I kind of had enough of that type of gameplay.
