"As part of their turnaround business plan, Sony will be bringing 3D gaming to the Playstation 3 by the end of the 2011 fiscal year (March 31, 2011). This stealthy announcement came from the company?s recent press release:"

Quote:
Expand 3D-related product businesses in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011

Engage Sony's group-wide assets from content production to display devices and game to make available a wide variety of attractive content and hardware, and drive the creation of new 3D markets.

Launch 3D-related products for the home, including TV, Blu-ray DiscTM players/recorders and 3D gaming on PlayStation®3 in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011.

Provide solutions for 3D content production, distribution and theatrical projection to lead the field in broadcast and professional businesses.

Target revenue from 3D-related products of more than 1 trillion yen (excluding content) in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.

"Sony has been showing off 3D gaming on the platform recently with Gran Turismo 5 and Wipeout HD. So this announcement should come at no surprise. In their presentation slides, Sony revealed that the 3D technologhy will come via a firmware update to all Playstation 3 units sometime in 2011."

Don't worry Stanley, the PezBox CAN'T do 3D or half the things that the PS3 can and will do. The PS3 cost so much at launch for a reason. it REALLY does everything, the new marketing campaign isn't bullshitting. The PS3 is capable of whatever with a simple firmware update, MS has to drop a new system to match it.

It's gonna be with 3D shades Gen, 3D is where games and movies are headed. Real eyewear and fashion designers like Rayban have designer 3D shades ready for when it takes off. James Cameron's upcoming Avatar will dictate whether 3D is a passing fad or the next evolution of entertainment. Hollywood is investing hundreds of millions in updating theaters around the country for new high tech 3D. They're banking on Avatar's success to make 3D a serious format.

You know, I haven't seen any of the newer 3D movies yet. so I don't know if it would irritate me or not.

But in the meantime, lets just play it safe and cancel you for being a girl. Okay, now everyone point at Muffy and laugh... giggle
